Daniel Moss has been in the practice of law since 1968. He has handled over a thousand Family Law matters including Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Alimony/Spousal Support and Visitation. Because of his vast trial experience, negotiating skills, and the respect of other attorneys, Mr. Moss is able to amicably resolve most of his client’s Family Law cases without a trial. Favorable settlements are achieved directly with other lawyers, or through the Mediation process.

Although some clients may come looking for a “hired gun” to antagonize their spouse and play “hardball” with their attorney, Daniel Moss prefers to deal with other attorneys and their clients as ladies and gentlemen. This helps reduce an already stressful period in clients’ lives. However, in those instances where the opposing attorney or their client insists on abusive conduct or playing outside of the rules, swift and strong legal measures are instituted by Mr. Moss to fortify his client’s rights.

Daniel H. Moss received a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan in 1965. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Wayne State University in 1968 and was admitted to the Michigan and Federal Bars the same year. He is a member of the Family Law and Criminal Law sections of the State Bar of Michigan and belongs to the Oakland County Bar Association. The day after being admitted to the Michigan Bar, Daniel Moss tried his first case.

In addition to his substantial experience in litigating divorce and family law cases, Daniel Moss has tried and won criminal cases, including first-degree murder. He has also successfully litigated Personal Injury, Contracts, Real Estate, Business, Probate, and other legal cases. Over the years he has helped recover millions of dollars for his clients, and has represented people throughout the state of Michigan and the United States.
