Ian L. Gross joined Joelson Rosenberg in April 2016. Mr. Gross focuses his practice on commercial litigation, real estate, and business law. His clients include both local and international real estate investors, developers, builders, and a multitude of metro Detroit-based entrepreneurs and closely held businesses. He is also the founding member and owner of Lawrence Realty Group, a real estate brokerage and consulting firm.
Before joining Joelson Rosenberg, Mr. Gross gained significant experience in complex litigation at a prominent litigation firm in Farmington Hills, Michigan. While there, Mr. Gross successfully represented a large utility company in litigation related to the construction of a $500 million dollar utility project spanning throughout Southeast Michigan. Mr. Gross earned his J.D., cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was on the Dean’s List all three years and earned multiple advocacy and writing awards in regional and national moot court competitions. Mr. Gross is a resident of the City of Detroit, and is an active member of the Oakland County Bar Association, Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Urban Land Institute.
