Marc N. Drasnin has practiced law in the State of Michigan since November 1984, and is admitted to practice before both state and federal courts. Over the course of his practice, he has handled many complex litigation cases involving family law, civil, real estate, business/commercial, personal injury, probate and property tax foreclosure matters. Extensive trial experience before state and federal courts is documented, and he has successfully advocated for clients in the Michigan Supreme Court and Michigan Court of Appeals on numerous occasions.
The practice has a strong focus on domestic relations - family law matters. This includes providing representation in child custody, parenting time, child and spousal support, property division, pre-nuptial agreements, and related issues. Efforts are made to resolve matters in an amicable and professional manner for the protection of the client, though should contested litigation result, the practice is well able and skilled to address such matters. The practice also offers consultation services, as well as representation for business, real estate transactional, and probate matters. Throughout the years of his practice, he has strived to provide personalized representation and services to all clients to meet their individual needs. Aware of the often emotional nature of family law, other litigation and everyday legal matters, he works diligently to assist clients in acquiring an understanding of the legal system and how to make it work best for them. Providing professional services is an essential part of the practice of law. He is presently a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and has also been a member of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Additional experience includes active work as a licensed real estate broker in residential and commercial transactions. |
